Rich Sanders DHA, MPH, FACHE
With nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, Rich is a servant leader and pioneer in virtual health and technology-enabled physician services. Rich has a broad range of operational expertise and a unique portfolio at the intersection of technology, analytics, medical group practice and value based care.
Working cross functionally with clinical and technology partners, Rich has pioneered tech-enabled and value-based service products that have significantly improved patient outcomes, financial performance and operational efficiency, improved physician satisfaction, reduced risk, and created organizational value.
Leading teams ranging up to 200+ team members of both non-clinical and clinical backgrounds he has built strong regional and national teams, across C-suite, clinical services, IT, finance and operations.
During periods of organizational growth, Rich has led the integration of acquired businesses and led intra and inter-organizational efforts to open new markets, scale services nationally and yield substantial shared savings.
Rich is an ambassador for the Lorna Breen Heroes Foundation and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Rich holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Masters of Public Health from Emory University and Bachelor of Science from Utah State University.
He has a passion and commitment to solving the complex challenges of healthcare. Weaving together problem-solving acumen and a deep understanding of healthcare dynamics, including population health, rural health and health equity for underserved communities Rich is a trusted operational leader and heatlhcare executive to support care delivery to all patients.
When he is not leading operations, innovation and strategy as a healthcare executive you can find him with his family at the pool, hiking in the mountains, relaxing at the beach, working on the farm or volunteering in his local community.
